Not an Easy Job (text by Agostina and illustration by Liliana)

Not an Easy Job

It was Friday 13th and although Paco, the famous postman of the neighborhood, wasn't superstitious, there was a different day awaiting him...
He was given an important parcel to deliver, so he took it and started his way to the address written on it. When he was riding his bike, a dog bit off part of his trousers because they smelt of barbecue. A few blocks ahead, a car drove past quickly and splashed him with the dirty water of the street corner.
When he thought things couldn't get worse, it started raining, so he had to stay under a tree until it stopped. An hour later, he got a puncture on his bike. Although he knew the neighborhood very well and had been delivering mail for years, he couldn't find the address.
When he finally got there, he wasn't surprised to find there was no one at home.
From that day on, he takes a rabbit's food and some garlic with him while wearing his clothes inside out on Fridays 13th - just in case!
